I was aware that origami (paper folding) appears to have roots in Spain independently from China and Japan. I recall being very excited to see paper models done by Unamano (spelling???) on my first visit to Spain and then later saw some at the Manual De Falla house.
I will go to my origami books to see if I can replicate this pig. At the Origami USA convention last week there was a class for making a flying pig, but it looked too difficult for me. I did a dove, a fox, a hobby horse and a very nice bowl.
